my 06 Grand Prix is running hot I change the thermostat it still runningthere is no leak the water is not shooting at the radiator when you open it so good and I want to give me a clue what's going on
I mean its alot of rust stuff
Check the coolant level when its cold. If the system is not full fill it up and see what happens. It shouldn't be full or rust unless you've been running straight water in it. Regardless it sounds like it needs to be drained and properly flushed and then have the proper coolant installed. Frankly that's best done by a shop with the proper equipment to make sure the system is full and has no air pockets. Modern GM cooling systems are very difficult to fill properly.
