I can't give you good news, these are interference engines, so if the timing belts breaks at the minimum you will bend a few valves, depending on engine speed at the time, if the RPM's were high the greater the damage. I have seen valves embedded in the Pistons when it has happened at high RPM. Sorry.

Thanks for the news I was kind of firgue that the valves would be bent my wife was driving the car she was going into forth gear she drives Lima old lady so hopefully not to much damage if it was your car would you replace the damaged ones or go ahead and replace the head/rebuild or should I replace the whole engine/rebuild it since I'll have it torn down always?

It would all depend on what you find after the heads are pulled, if a valve has broke off and made itself part of the piston then a rebuild or replace would be a good idea, but if it just the valves and the cylinders look good, have the heads checked for cracks and milled if needed, then have the valves and guides done and put it back together.

It is really sad that many people put off timing belt service and then have to replace an engine due to this lack of maintenance. Not specifically talking about the original poster here. Good luck with it.

My 2007 Mitsubishi Eclipse manual says you need to change the timing belt at 60,000 (seems very early to me) - but at 105,000 if I live in California. Sounds like I need to move there after I hit 60,...
