What would cause a 99 Ford 2.5 4 cylinder to keep blowing the oil filter seal and losing all the oil is a schnauzer

Put new head on 99 Ford 2.5 four
cylinder problem is it runs well for
a little while and then it blows the
oil seal off the filter and I lose all
the oil what is the problem please
help me

Sounds like excessive oil pressure. The head or head gasket is covering up a oil supply passage to the upper engine or you didn't clean the gasket from the oil filter sealing surface. I hope this helps. Take care.

Thanks Mike but are those the only things that can cause the oil pressure to build up like that cuz I really don't want to have to pull the head off again

It probably didn't blow that gasket prior to you changing the head. Find the oil pressure sending unit and replace it with a mechanical gauge and check pressure first. Then remove and compare with old gasket and head. That's all I have, maybe someone else is checking questions today an have a better idea.
