Does honda crv have back up beep feature.

I just purchased the 2018 Honda CR-V EXL. Even though it has the blind spot alert and the cross traffic alert, it does not have the back up alert. I did not realize this until after I bought it....not that that would have changed my mind. I just figured with everything else it had, that this would have been included. I am disappointed and may check in to having it added if that is an option.
Just called dealer as I have the same car. They have to take off bumper etc. repaint and cost is about $1500. YIKES Why doesn't it come with the car. It has every other safety feature but the one most needed. I too am disappointed. I figured it would come with the car and wasn't offered the option of having it installed. Oh, did I mention my wife just backed into a parked car. :(

My husband has back up camera and alert on his car. He was backing up my CRV and looking at the camera and was waiting for the audible alert (which there is non on my CRV), so he almost damaged his car with my car. I have no button in cargo area to turn on this feature as I have read in previous posts. It was not mentioned as an option when I bought the car. I think Honda made a mistake in not having an audible alert.
I also was not aware of this....Am very disappointed as other car companies offer this included ! To have to pay an additional amount of money is ridiculous ! Sales people are in a huge hurry to close and not discuss options
Standard equipment in Canada. Must beep on all makes and models. I'm going to Winnipeg.
