PO651 can I drive my vehicle out of state and still be safe

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My car has thrown a p0651 code. It's a Chevy
equinox I need to know if it's dependable enough
to take out of town I have no other choice can I get
part until 5 days.

A P0651 is a voltage B circuit open and can be caused by a few things. Did you have it diagnosed already that you know the part that is causing the light to come on? You could have an issue with the way the transmission shifts, the transfer case shifting out of AWD and FWD and or the speedo or odometer readings. If you have no other choice, I am not sure why you are asking. How far is out of town? 10 miles? 100 miles?
