I have a 96 Ford Thunderbird with a 4.6 hundred forty thousand miles to a little tired. I would like to do an engine swap and gold digger is that possible
140K isn't a lot of miles unless it was abused. Are you sure you need to spend money to drop in a another one? What are the symptoms that it is tired? Not sure what you mean by a "gold digger."
Sounds like it needs a diagnosis more than a swap, maybe some mild upgrades. Toms right, your milage shouldnt matter unless there was some serious abuse. There are lots of things that can be done to the 4.6 thats for sure.
