2013 Audi A4 1.8T Won't start after a change of camshaft and timing chaing.

Asked by BonnyNkosi Jul 31, 2020 at 05:51 AM about the 2013 Audi A4

Question type: General

My Audi won't start. I had the Camshaft and timing
chain replaced after the car seized. The injectors
were checked and they work fine but they are
releasing fuel. I replaced the spark plugs a couple
of months ago so I don't think it's that. My
mechanic mentioned that it could've lost its
"memory" and needs the audi software to be
installed again as it was stationery without a
battery for months before getting fixed. Any ideas
anyone?

Hi I'm sitting with the exact same problem Your intake timing is off Also refer to the ecu that controls the feuling (exhaust timing 62mm from middle of head) (intake timing 62mm from middle of head) Addjust those two timing gears on your cams Then on the bottom there's marks that should correspond to your chain On the exhaust cam there is a Dell with your feul volume regulator it should be 100% in place in order to get your feuling right Check out for those things Hope it can help it solved my issues Ruan
