Why is my vehicle shown as overpriced when my Carfax report shows my vehicle valued at hundreds more than I am asking?

Question type: Shopping & Pricing

My Carfax says my 2012 Acura MDX in the condition my car is in with the low
mileage the vehicle has with a value of $16,260, yet Cargurus shows my car
as way overpriced in my listing. What is up with this discrepancy that works
against me? I do not appreciate nor agree with your favor of dealerships over
personal sales.  The listing should be about the actual value of the car!  
Please fix this issue.  Can you fix this discrepancy in my listing? What can you
say about that?

I think CarGurus tends to have a lower "fair price" compared to sites like KBB and Carfax. I'm not sure why, but they really seem to be on the buyer's side rather than the seller's.

First of all CG's is not CarFax. CG's price is based on other similar cars for sale. Apparently your price is higher than average.

If you are using dealer pricing your car will always show as too high.

I am using the Carfax value, plus my own research on pricing in my area. So when I use this format to ask a question, am I actually talking to anyone at CarGurus? Wayne
