2012 Town and Country dies when stopping

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 2012 Town & Country dies when I stop.  Ran fine while driving until I go
to slow down UNTIL they did a power train computer (not sure that's the
correct wording) update yesterday, now I will not even stay running. Before
when it would start to die if I put it in neutral it would be ok, now nothing
helps.  I've had it to 3 places and they couldn't find anything wrong.  No
check engine light.  NOW I am being told it needs a new transmission, I just
replaced the transmission 40k miles ago...

I had this exact issue. Not sure if this was the problem but they went in and had to replace the oil pump. Allegedly the issue was the failure of the oil pump was telling the computer to shut the engine off as a way to protect them engine. I'm no mechanic but that's what they told me. They also forgot to completely seat the fuel line to the engine causing fuel to spray all over my engineer bay... So take their diagnosis with a grain of salt I guess.
