why do i have to pump my gas pedal to mak my 1999 dodge ram 1500 go at
normal speed

you're not " pumping " anything , it's not a carburetor . it could be the T.P.S , dirty or stuck injector(s) , vacuum leaks or any # of other things , scan for codes even if the light ain't on . What's coming out the tail pipe ,? black smoke ? gas ?
