Is your check engine light on? Some car models will disable remote start if it has codes in the PCM or if the engine light is on. It's a safety feature that newer models have incorporated. I would have it checked with an expensive diagnostic tool. Sometimes the engine light will not be on, but there's codes in the system. You can also try disconnecting the battery and touch both positive and negative for 5 minutes. BE VERY CAREFUL THEY DON'T TOUCH METAL! Have someone go inside the car as you're doing this and just press all the buttons and stomp on the brake pedal. This will discharge any juice left in the car. Then connect everything again and see if the remote start works. If not, go to any autozone and see if the remote start button is sending signal. Could be the fob? Good luck!

if your gas is under a quarter tank i dont think it will work either
