Will the belt work this time?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

A new serpentine belt was put on. The
bekt busted off but I didnt know that
my defrost was left on. If I just
replace the belt again with out the
defrost being on will it work??

Should work ,but checked if any pulley is seized or damage,before You install the new belt
