How do I "prime" a failing fuel pump!!!

I need ASAP help! How do I prime or test the fuel pump to
get gas to my engine to get it to start. STRANDED @ work
in below freezing weather. Where is the location of where
to do this in the engine.

to Prime you turn the ignition on and off without starting the car a few times.

Banging on the tank, as F_O_R posted, is what to try. If the pump is totally shot then you are out of options except replacing the pump.

This is a known issue with T&C.... failing fuel pump relay located inside/under the main fuse box. Works sometimes...fails sometimes.... I just ran a 5 inch jumper (made of household guage 12 wire--free) and placed it from M7-leftmost to M25-bottom. In that way the fuel pump will only run when the key is turned on. That is the emergency fix. There was a recall on that item but guess you missed out. Anyway there is an external relay kit that can be put onto your fuse box (if you are somewhat mechanically inclined and have, and know how to use, a soldering gun). It costs under 30 bucks. All that said....it may be some other problem...but this is cheap and easy to try first.
