Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Replaced condenser last year ... Now it starts  & runs fine & cool  , then stops & nothing  ... If it was the compressor it wouldn't run at all ?  If it was the condensor it wouldn't cool ? ... Is there a relay somewhere ?  I was told it's a loose wire ( cmon )  They want to replace both the compressor & condenser ( sounds like I'm being played ) at a high cost ... Could it be a relay , fuse , or something simple ?

i cant see it being your condensor but your compressor could be the issue they are equipped with a thermal protector which will shut your compressor down if it rises above a certain temp your fuses and relay are in your engine compartment fuse box by jumping the fuse you should hear the clutch on your compressor engage
