my 99 model accent ecu overheating

Asked by Mar 16, 2016 at 12:52 PM about the 1999 Hyundai Accent

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

while i drive the vehicle shows missing....the cause is ecu

1 Answer

Better check for a reference voltage short to ground, there isn't too much inside the ECU that can cause that kind of heat without an outside influence like a short or a high voltage getting fed into the unit itself, sometimes a ground can cause some symptoms but rarely an overheated box.
