I put the key in a Ford focus 2010
keep having to turn the key back and
forth back and forth to turn it on

The ignition switch may be bad, the ignition switch is mounted beneath the ignition lock cylinder and can be switched out without affecting the anti theft system.

Thank you very much maybe you could help me out with this part my wife says it should be a rod ignition rod or something like that that those wear out and she went to some other form and it was typical
