What modifications are needed for a GMC Sierra1500 crew cab, 5.3, 4WD, to
tow a 5th wheel, 29ft camper

Make sure the weight of the trailer (loaded) is realistic for a 1/2 ton truck. If it is you can upgrade the cooling system for the engine and transmission. Heavy duty springs and shocks may help but I suspect you may be in 3/4 ton territory with that trailer.
