First thing is to check the battery, is it fully charged? How old is the battery? Do you have a multimeter that measures volts to check? If not borrow one or have the car towed to your nearest garage. Probe the battery, it should be around 12.3V. Anything lower than 11V will give you symptoms you have. Once you have the car running again, scan for the codes since the check engine light is on, and have that issue repaired.
