I have a 1970 f100 with a 302, after running for a while the engine stalls starving for gas. if I let the truck sit for a while the truck starts up no problem. Any idea's ?
Check the fuel tank venting, a fuel pump can't pull if there is a vacuum on the tank, if that checks good then replace the fuel pump if your sure it is a fuel starvation problem. Points and condensers were cause of most of the running problems back then, so make sure you keep a set with you and the tools to replace them. HTH
