1969 Ford f100 starts but runs Really rough

Asked by Jayson Mar 11, 2018 at 11:43 AM about the 1969 Ford F-100

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Why does my truck run like the timing is off ? The points were sticking and I
manually gapped them and it runs like the timing is off unless I yank on the
vacuum pump up and down. Thanks

In the long run which has already been a long run since 1969 best bet is too buy a Ignition Conversion Kit. New plug wires and spark plugs and cap ect.
