1981 Lincoln Continental Mark 6 registration in California smog test will it pass smog?
Hi I'm interested in buying a 1981 Lincoln Continental
Mark 6 but I don't know if I can register it in the
state of California it's presently located in the mid west
where it was bought new many years ago I'm trying
to have the owner look at the label in the engine
bay to see if they can see if it's a 50-state car or 49
state car that's the only way I know of determining
whether or not the vehicle will be able to be
registered here is that the only way to tell if
whether or not the car can be registered in the
state of California or are there parts to look for like
a smog pump, catalytic converter if it has those
parts then it should be good to be registered here
in California right?  Do you guys know thanks in
advance for your answers!
