There's a ton more personal comfort and luxury trimmings in the 2006 Nissan Titan SE Crew Cab, yet the rear-wheel drive full-sized pickup is still rugged and functional. This year, the 2006 Titan SE Crew Cab gets a sunroof option, optional limited slip rear differential, and standard Vehicle Dynamic Control (traction). Powered by a 5.6-liter, 305-hp DOHC V8 engine and 5-speed automatic, the 2006 Titan SE Crew Cab rides on 18-inch alloy wheels, and features an front independent and rear live axle suspension, 4-wheel ABS brakes, electronic brakeforce distribution, skid plates, speed-sensing wipers, a tire monitor, front stabilizer bar, and dual front airbags. Side airbags, stability control, foglights, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror are extra.
The 5.5-foot cargo bed features hooks, tie-downs, and trailer wiring, and can tow up to 9400 pounds. A cover, bedliner, and extender can be added. In addition to what you get on the XE, the 2006 Titan SE Crew Cab offers heated mirrors, leather trim, a sliding rear window, more storage compartments, and a CD changer/MP3 player. This is in addition to cruise control, full power features, and intermittent wipers. There's a long option list, which includes a power driver's seat, larger mirrors, power-adjustable pedals, rear audio controls, a DVD player, and parking sensors. Lots of room and lots of power, say owners of the 2006 Titan SE Crew Cab 2WD, but the 14/19 mpg is not so wonderful.
