2022 INFINITI QX60 Reviews Summary

The 2022 Infiniti QX60 is a premium midsize three-row crossover SUV with front-wheel drive (FWD) or available all-wheel drive (AWD). Slotting into the Infiniti SUV lineup between the two-row QX50 and the full-size three-row QX80, the QX60 aims at the “just right” area of the market with a healthy dose of luxury, technology, and driving satisfaction.

2023 Genesis GV80 Reviews Summary

We first got an idea of the GV80 in 2017 at the New York Auto Show when the company debuted a concept. Fast forward to 2021 when we saw the first production model and we knew it would be a hit. Over the past two years, our admiration has only grown. Available with Standard, Advanced, or Prestige packages, the GV80 is a midsize luxury SUV with plenty of features, offering stellar value for those who recognize a good deal when they see it.

Verdict: With great styling inside and out, plus a healthy choice of potent powertrains, the Genesis GV80 is an attractive and capable option in the midsize luxury SUV segment. It's technology can require a bit of a learning curve, but there are few true faults with this vehicle.

2023 Genesis GV80

9/10

The 2022 INFINITI QX60 underwent a complete transformation, showcasing a new exterior and interior design, updated powertrains, and advanced technologies. This redesign mirrored updates seen in its Nissan counterpart, the Pathfinder, as both shared the Nissan D platform. The QX60's lineage traced back to the 2013 JX, which was renamed in 2014. The second-generation QX60 boasted a striking appearance with a prominent grille, sleek LED headlights, and chrome accents. Its long hood and raked windshield added elegance, while the floating roof effect enhanced its modern look. Inside, the QX60 offered a spacious and luxurious cabin, featuring quilted leather upholstery and a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment display, emphasizing comfort and craftsmanship.

The 2023 Genesis GV80 exuded sophistication with its quad-lamp headlights and bold grille, presenting a stately midsize SUV profile. The Prestige trim featured 22-inch alloy wheels, enhancing its elegant appearance. The rear design echoed the quad-lamp theme with four-part taillamps and dual exhausts. Inside, the GV80 continued the dark green theme with quilted leather seats, complemented by metal and matte wood trim. The center console housed three large dials for infotainment, transmission, and drive modes. Despite a slightly awkward infotainment screen placement, the interior was spacious and luxurious, offering a comfortable and refined driving experience.

The 2023 Genesis GV80 offered AWD with a choice between a turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine or a turbo 3.5-liter V6. Our tester, equipped with the V6, produced 375 hp and 391 lb-ft of torque, paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. While not the quickest, the GV80 excelled in highway driving, with smooth power delivery and an electronically controlled suspension that adapted to road conditions.
