The 2022 Honda Odyssey was a top recommendation for families due to its practical design and features. Its sliding side doors made loading children into car seats easier, and the spacious third-row seat provided comfort for additional passengers. The Odyssey also offered significant cargo space, rivaling that of larger SUVs when the seats were folded or removed. Despite its practical advantages, the minivan's image deterred some buyers, although the 2022 model had a stylish design with kinked sliding doors and dark gray 19-inch aluminum wheels on the Elite trim.

The 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe, on the other hand, maintained Jeep's iconic design elements, including the seven-slot grille. The plug-in hybrid model combined modern efficiency with classic styling, featuring active shutters for improved aerodynamics. The Grand Cherokee 4xe was available only as a two-row, five-passenger SUV, with trims ranging from the base 4xe to the luxurious Summit Reserve. The Overland trim we tested included leather seats, wood and metal accents, and a contrasting black roof, though it still had some hard plastic materials that detracted from its upscale feel.
