How much does the 2025 Toyota Sienna cost?

Prices have softened 10.26% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 2,736 listings available, which suggests you have a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2025 Toyota Sienna a good car?

Yes — the 2025 Toyota Sienna earns a 5/5 user rating and a 6.3/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Technology at 9/10.

It stands out in the minivan class because it pairs a standard hybrid powertrain with practical everyday usability. You also get a great ride quality, a quiet cabin, and easy-to-use technology, which fits well if you want a family hauler that emphasizes comfort and convenience. The main trade-offs are an irritating transmission and less outright load space than rivals.

The market also looks reasonably supportive, with 32.9% of listings marked as good or great deals.

Is the 2025 Toyota Sienna reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2025 Sienna is built around a standard hybrid setup, and Toyota’s own maintenance coverage adds some ownership reassurance. It also comes with ToyotaCare complimentary scheduled maintenance for two years or 25,000 miles, which helps reduce early ownership costs. The hybrid system is designed to maximize fuel economy, and the cabin is described as quiet and easy to live with.

That said, used buyers should still pay close attention to service history and real-world condition, especially if the vehicle has seen heavy family use or frequent cargo duty.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Toyota Sienna?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92.4% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you’re considering a higher-mileage example or one with lots of family-hauling wear. Focus on how the transmission behaves, whether the cabin shows signs of hard use, and whether the cargo area and seating surfaces match the seller’s description. If you plan to use the Sienna for road trips or daily commuting, make sure the comfort and technology features work as expected.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The lineup includes the LE, XLE, XSE, Limited, Woodland Edition, and Platinum. The LE is the entry point and has fewer amenities than higher trims, while the Platinum adds upscale touches and more premium equipment. If you want the best balance of features and value, the XLE is the trim to focus on first.
• Powertrain: The Sienna uses a 2.5-liter four-cylinder hybrid with a CVT. Front-wheel drive is standard, and all-wheel drive is available with an additional rear-mounted electric motor for extra traction.
• Safety package: Toyota Safety Sense 2.0 includes forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, pedestrian detection, lane departure warning, lane-keeping assist, lane-centering assist, adaptive cruise control, and automatic high beams. All Siennas also have blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert.
• Infotainment: Higher-spec models get a 12.3-inch digital instrument panel and a 12.3-inch touchscreen. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are supported, and Toyota’s connected services add cloud-based features when active.
• Fuel efficiency: The official EPA rating for the test model was 36 mpg in combined driving, and the model is described as promising 35 to 36 mpg in combined driving.

Which 2025 Toyota Sienna trim should I buy?

The 2025 Toyota Sienna is offered in 6 trim levels: LE, XLE, XSE, Limited, Woodland Edition, and Platinum.

Here's the short version:

• LE: This is the entry trim, so it makes the most sense if you want the lowest starting point and can live without the richer tech and comfort upgrades found higher up the range.
• XLE: This is the best-value trim for most shoppers because it adds a more appealing mix of everyday comfort and convenience without jumping all the way to luxury pricing.
• XSE: Choose this if you want a racier look and a sport-tuned suspension, but keep your expectations in check on driving excitement.
• Limited: This trim is for you if you want a more upscale feel and more premium equipment without going all the way to the top.
• Woodland Edition: This is the one to consider if you want the extra ground clearance and light off-roading capability mentioned for this trim.
• Platinum: This is the top trim and brings the most upscale presentation, including the new woodgrain finish and the most premium-feeling equipment.

The safety package is based on Toyota Safety Sense 2.0, and all Siennas also include blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Toyota Sienna?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market.

• Deal availability: 32.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 2,736 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.26% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 92.4% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $45,361, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Toyota Sienna's resale value?

The current average of $45,361 sits slightly below last year's $50,548.

That price decline suggests the market has softened, which can help you buy more affordably now but may also limit near-term upside if you plan to resell soon. For future sellers, the current trend means you should expect buyers to be price-sensitive unless your Sienna has especially strong condition, mileage, and equipment. The good news is that the model’s practical strengths and hybrid appeal should still support demand.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2025 Toyota Sienna safe?

The 2025 Toyota Sienna earns five-star overall ratings from NHTSA, but it also earns four-star ratings in frontal crash and three-star protection for the driver in a frontal impact. It does not earn a Top Safety Pick rating from IIHS.

It earns a 6/10 safety score from our experts.

Toyota Safety Sense 2.0 includes forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, pedestrian detection, lane departure warning, lane-keeping assist, lane-centering assist, adaptive cruise control, and automatic high beams. All Siennas also include blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert. The 2025 model also adds rear-seat reminder technology, which is a thoughtful family-focused feature.

The main caveat is the frontal crash result, which is weaker than you’d want from a family minivan. That makes it especially important to keep your expectations realistic and to pay attention to the vehicle’s condition and safety equipment when shopping used.

Should I buy a 2025 Toyota Sienna or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 32.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92.4% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.26% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It adds rear-seat reminder technology and keeps the hybrid efficiency and AWD appeal.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $44,022, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $45,361 average.
• It emphasizes efficiency and everyday usefulness.

Consider the 2026 if:

• It adds best-in-class fuel economy and keeps the available AWD system.

The bottom line: If you want the newest version with strong inventory, a softer price trend, and the latest family-focused safety tech, the 2025 is the better default choice. If you’re mainly chasing the lowest purchase price, the 2024 is the more budget-friendly path.
