Dealer Gave Misinformation on the Warranty and on the type of model of the vehicle (i.e. xle vs limited, Bad Business. I could never to talk to a sales manager, was never allotted the opportunity after asking several times. Salesperson told me she would call if the car was sold she never called me. The only reason I new the car didn't is because I saw the price drop on car-gurus and so I called her back and told her. Finally after all the "lies" the salesperson offered me $200 off, after correcting them over and over on misinformation. I realize here a potential good deal is not worth the waste of time and anger not with my family to drive three hours for a car they could not be Real with me about.

I made an appointment Saturday to come in Monday. When I hot there at 3:30pm I had been notified that the car was "taken to the shop" and wouldn't be back for 2 weeks. They had all day to tell me that and they didn't. Every time I asked the salesman a question he disappeared for 10 minutes. They tried to sell me more expensive/brand new cars and I wasn't happy about that. Their prices are not as advertised on here. They are deceitful and I'm thinking bout reporting them to the BBB.

I've bought many cars over the years and this was by far my worst expierience.Lured me to deAlership with promise to see a specific car and it wasn't there.I had told them that it was the vehicle I wanted to see and wasn't interested in anything else but my request went denied.

the worst dealer I had met. every question that we ask like car fax, certified, price. they go to a seperate place making us to wait for many miutes and then their manager comes and gives a answer that we didn't even expect. Their managers doesn't even know car prices and blindly giving some random prices. They will quote some price online and when we meet them in person, the price changes too high and also, in internet/on telephone, they say that car is certified, but when I went and saw the car, it has damage and not certified. Worst dealer.

Although I did not buy a car from them, my experience with their internet sales manager Ashley Alexander was very good. I did not buy the car because I was looking for options (bluetooth, backup camera) that were not installed on the CPO they were offering but they tried to price how much it would cost to install these options in aftermarket. The pricing seemed to be fair or even good, so yes I would recommend to consider them if you're looking for a Toyota Vehicle compared to another toyota dealer based in Hackensack.

My family and I went to Toyota Universe on 7/4/16 and the salesperson Wilfredo Vega was very professional, positive, understandable and patient with us. Wilfredo tries his best to make sure you are happy with your payments and gives you options on what maybe the best opportunity for you. We left the same day with a 2016 Toyota Sienna 8 passenger, which my entire family was happy. I highly recommend that if you are serious about leasing or purchasing a vehicle see Wilfredo Vega you will not regret it. The best to you. Jesus loves you!!

I had a very good experience. The salesman, was very pleasant, helpful, and willing to go above and beyond in answering my many questions about the vehicle. I'm definitely will recommend to any of our friends interested in acquiring a Toyota Sienna. I'm very satisfied with him, Thanks.

I was shopping around for a while for a good reliable car. Car shopping is such a long process, but Toyota universe really should have been my only stop. Jorge Bueno who is an associate there helped me through all the steps. He was very professional and knowledgeable about many different vehicles, he gave me different options to choose from. He helped me snatch a car, and worked very hard to get me an amazing deal. If you are car shopping I would suggest you to see Jorge Buneo he is great and very helpful. Will most definitely come back for more cars for my kids soon.

This was by far the worst experience I've ever had at a dealership. We drove over two hours after speaking to ayshia, The Internet manager who by the way is not a sales person. She had never mentioned anything negative about the car and confirmed our time to meet with her directly. Not only did we not meet with her after numerous conversations but in viewing the car it was taped together on one side. Nothing in the pictures or description indicates that there was any accident whatsoever on the vehicle. You wouldn't want to be deaf dumb and blind to buy a car here. And then they tempted to show at another car which smelled so horrible, basically like an old wet dog. Of course then there was the convenient switch of showing us all the more expensive cars that did not align with the budget we explained to them. We wasted four hours of our day For nothing. By far again the worst experience.

I got multiple calls (to the point of being annoying) from a guy who I made an appointment with for noon on Friday. When I got there I waited about 20 minutes and then some other guy said, the salesman who booked your appointment is on vacation. I looked at the car and drove it. I was told several times that all of Toyata's used cars go through a 160 point inspection. The car was listed at $3995. I asked the salesman if he could do a little better. He said he would have to go talk to his sales manager and returned WITH the sales manager about 5 minutes later. The manager told me the car was $3995 PLUS $1195 for the inspection which I found completely outrageous - because I expected whatever the cost for their 160 point inspection was it was included in the price. With the extra $$ for the inspection, taxes and paperwork this $3995 car was going to cost me $6,310.16. Sounds like they have a scam going there with their "so called" inspection. I don't trust them and I will NOT be going back.

I went to the dealership and was helped by Allen Graham, he was amazing. He was very pleasant, knowledgeable and down to earth. I was able to test drive several vehicles and narrow my choices down to the TRD Pro!!! I've been to some other dealerships be for and Toyota Universe was the best, probably thanks to salesman Allen Graham.

I met with Hesham Ali and test drove a new Highlander. He was friendly and very helpful. He followed up with me and offered no pressure advice. I chose another make but not because of him. He was awesome! I wish all car dealers were as honest and helpful as Ali. I purchased a car from him 11 years ago and went back to him. In 3 years, when my lease is up, I will return to him for a sedan. Ali is an asset to your company!

Terrible. The car I wanted to see was "in the body shop". The sales team was incredibly rude and pushy trying to get me to lease a much more expensive car than the one I originally went to see. I wouldn't recommend this dealer to anyone.

They were very quick to contact me via email, apparently from the dealer's manager? (That was the name signed on the email). I got a PIN number to make an appointment, with the incentive to do so as soon as possible. However, when I called, I got an automated system and it wasn't clear to me who the heck I should be speaking with. Someone got back to me and by the time they did, the car I wanted was gone (surprise?), and they offered to show me a more expensive one. I let her know my budget, she said she would get back to me, but I haven't heard since and in that time I got a deal elsewhere, primarily because a real person got back to me ASAP after my initial contact. Toyota Universe might want to try that approach.

Have not visited the dealer. ***This is just my online experience: They responded to the question, but didnt answer questions. They wanted me to get down there first, which is understandable, but bad, since I have to drive 2 hours and it they might not have what I was looking for.

I purchased a Highlander from Toyota Universe and had the best experience. I have been looking for a Highlander with specific features but was unable to locate one until I was contacted by Allen Graham. I couldn't be happier. Allen made everything simple and smooth with my purchase, he was very helpful. All my questions and concerns were answered. I was on the road in my new Highlander in no time. He made sure I left a happy customer and I must say I was ecstatic.

Went shopping around for a car recently.Meet with a sells man Wilfredo Vega. Who was very helpful and knowledgeable. Answered all my questions and was not pushy. I told him I wasn't ready to purchase a car. He was very understanding of my situation. When I am ready to purchase, I will be going back to see him.

After initially being interested in the 2013 Corolla LE, I am happy to say that after working with WILFREDO VEGA I walked out with a brand new 2016 Toyota Corolla. At 21 years old I was able to finally purchase my own car using my own finances. Wilfredo was extremely open to all of my questions and concerns, especially involving the financial aspect of my purchase. In no moment did I feel pressured to make a deal. There were no hidden fees that I was not made aware of. And every question I asked was clearly answered. Absolutely sleazy retailership. Definitely not a dealership because no deals to be had.The fact that they hide the actual cost of extra fees just makes them all the worse. I repeatedly requested what the actual cost of these fees end up being but have still yet to be told what it adds to the overall cost. Don't just walk away from this deal, run as fast as you can. How anyone that works here can sleep at night is beyond my understanding.

Didn't send pictures like they said most likely because car wasn't up to par and they just wanted to get me there and try and sell me something else also the hidden fees is shady business if the car is four thousand then say so don't advertise it as twenty nine hundred then say there is a eight hundred plus charge for this a four hundred hundred dollar charge for this that is shady and I'd never so business wih a place like this

Terrible dealership, drove two hours to be shown a vehicle with stains, interior and exterior damage, plus missing interior parts. At a Toyota dealership this is not what anyone would expect. Worst head of department I've ever had to deal with. Disappointing that no one took initiative to resolve the issue in a proper manner. MANAGEMENT?????? I will take this complaint as far as I can till they acknowledge the terrible service that was provided.

Wow. What a bunch of clowns. The fact that they are still in business is proofs there'e still one born every minute. I get a piece of paper put in front of me with a list of fees. Salesman says "We're different. We want you to know the total cost up front." The only thing left out of the fees was a charge for the salesman's smile. The extras ran the car up $3K over the advertised price to $19,4K. (FYI, the car was sold new 3 years earlier for $19,8K) The Salesman's boss comes over to sweeten the deal. Offers $2500 reduction. Told him I'd let him know next day. Next day I said I'll take it off the lot for $17K total. He says "We're way far apart". "Why?" I ask. "There's also tax." he replies. "Wasn't that on that paper you showed me in the beginning?" "No." I said "Go back and give me your best out of the door price in print." Never heard from them again. So why you ask, do I even give them a single star? They hire beautiful women. Check them out! But, don't buy a car there.

bate and switch when i called about the car said no longer available, yet its still listed on web site but they were quick to redirect to another vehicle... when he had just sent an email this very day about this car... stay away!!!!!!!

Seemed like bait and switch. Car on internet was not on lot, and they worked very hard to sell me another one that same night. The price was very good, but it was not what I wanted. In fact, the car I went there to see is still shown on line 3 days later.
