Used 2025 Toyota Sienna for Sale nearChicago, IL

How much does the 2025 Toyota Sienna cost?

Prices have softened 10.34% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 2,830 listings available, which gives you a solid pool of used Siennas to compare.

Is the 2025 Toyota Sienna a good car?

Yes — the 2025 Toyota Sienna earns a 5/5 user rating and a 6.3/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Technology at 9/10.

The Sienna is built for you if you want a family hauler that emphasizes efficiency and convenience. Its standard hybrid powertrain, great ride quality, quiet cabin, and easy-to-use technology make it appealing for everyday use, especially if you value a relaxed minivan experience over driving excitement.

The trade-offs are an irritating transmission and less outright load space than rivals. Even so, the market shows 37.4% of listings as good or great deals, which suggests there are still worthwhile opportunities if you shop carefully.

Is the 2025 Toyota Sienna reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2025 Sienna is positioned as a practical hybrid minivan with a reputation for everyday usability, and its expert evaluation highlights a smooth, quiet highway experience and straightforward technology. ToyotaCare adds complimentary scheduled maintenance for two years or 25,000 miles, which helps reduce early ownership costs.

Its hybrid setup is designed to maximize fuel economy, and the expert evaluation notes that the powertrain feels responsive enough in normal driving. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that real-world fuel economy and cargo capacity may not match your expectations if you need maximum efficiency or hauling space.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Toyota Sienna?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92.4% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you plan to use the Sienna for frequent family hauling or long-distance driving. Pay close attention to how the transmission behaves, whether the cabin electronics work as expected, and whether the vehicle shows signs of heavy use in the second and third rows.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The lineup includes LE, XLE, XSE, Limited, Woodland Edition, and Platinum. The LE is the entry point and has fewer amenities than higher trims, while the Platinum adds upscale interior touches and more premium equipment. The Woodland Edition is the one to focus on if you want the extra ground clearance and light off-road capability mentioned in the evaluation.
• Powertrain: You get a 2.5-liter four-cylinder hybrid with a CVT, standard front-wheel drive, and available all-wheel drive with an additional rear-mounted electric motor. The setup is tuned for efficiency and quiet cruising, but hard acceleration can bring out the CVT’s moaning character.
• Safety package: Toyota Safety Sense 2.0 includes forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, pedestrian detection, lane departure warning, lane-keeping assist, lane-centering assist, adaptive cruise control, and automatic high beams. Blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert are also standard, and the new rear-seat reminder system is a useful family-focused addition.
• Infotainment: Higher trims get a 12.3-inch digital instrument panel and a 12.3-inch touchscreen. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are supported, and the system can use connected services when active. The Platinum also adds a 10-inch head-up display and a camera-based digital rearview mirror.
• Fuel efficiency: The official EPA rating for the test model was 36 mpg in combined driving, and Toyota says the Sienna can deliver 35 to 36 mpg in combined driving.

Which 2025 Toyota Sienna trim should I buy?

The 2025 Toyota Sienna is offered in 6 trim levels: LE, XLE, XSE, Limited, Woodland Edition, and Platinum.

Here's the short version:

• LE: This is the entry trim, so it makes the most sense if you want the lowest starting point and can live without the richer tech and comfort features found higher up the range.
• XLE: This is the best-value trim for many shoppers because it moves you into a more well-rounded equipment mix without jumping all the way to the premium end.
• XSE: Choose this if you want the sportier look and the sport-tuned suspension mentioned in the evaluation, but keep your expectations realistic about driving fun.
• Limited: This is the right middle-to-upper choice if you want a more upscale feel without going all the way to the top trim.
• Woodland Edition: Pick this if you want the extra ground clearance and the light off-road capability described in the evaluation.
• Platinum: This is the most luxurious choice, with the most premium interior presentation and the richest feature set.

Toyota Safety Sense 2.0 is standard, and all Siennas also include blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Toyota Sienna?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you’re patient.

• Deal availability: 37.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 2,830 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.34% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 92.4% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $45,230, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Toyota Sienna's resale value?

The current average of $45,230 sits slightly below last year's $50,449.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can help you buy more affordably now but may also limit near-term upside if you plan to resell soon. If you’re a future seller, the current softness means your best resale outcome will depend on condition, mileage, and how well the vehicle is equipped.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2025 Toyota Sienna safe?

The 2025 Toyota Sienna earns a five-star overall rating from NHTSA, but it also earns four-star ratings in frontal crash and three-star protection for the driver in a frontal impact. It also does not earn a Top Safety Pick rating from IIHS.

It earns a 6/10 safety score from our experts.

Toyota Safety Sense 2.0 includes forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, pedestrian detection, lane departure warning, lane-keeping assist, lane-centering assist, adaptive cruise control, and automatic high beams. Blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert are standard on all Siennas, and the new rear-seat reminder system is a thoughtful family-oriented addition.

The main caveat is the frontal crash result, which is weaker than you’d want from a family vehicle. That makes it especially important to keep your expectations realistic and to pay attention to the vehicle’s condition and safety equipment when shopping used.

Should I buy a 2025 Toyota Sienna or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 37.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92.4% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.34% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It adds a new rear-seat reminder system and keeps the hybrid efficiency and available AWD appeal.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $43,854, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $45,230 average.
• It emphasizes efficiency, practicality, and strong value.

Consider the 2026 if:

• It adds best-in-class fuel economy and keeps the available AWD system.
• It remains a practical family minivan with comfortable seating and easy-to-use technology.

The bottom line: If you want the newest version with the strongest current market data and the added rear-seat reminder tech, the 2025 is the primary path to consider. If your priority is saving money up front, the 2024 is the better price-sensitive alternative.
