Used 2025 Toyota Sienna for Sale near Illinois

How much does the 2025 Toyota Sienna cost?

Prices have softened 7.69% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 2,486 listings available, which gives you a solid pool of options to compare.

Is the 2025 Toyota Sienna a good car?

Yes — the 2025 Toyota Sienna earns a 5/5 user rating and a 6.33/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Technology at 9/10.

It stands out in the minivan class because it pairs a standard hybrid powertrain with practical everyday usability. You also get a great ride quality, a quiet cabin, and easy-to-use technology, which makes it especially appealing if you want a family hauler that emphasizes comfort and convenience.

The trade-offs are an irritating transmission and less outright load space than rivals. It also isn’t the most engaging vehicle to drive, so if you want a minivan that feels lively, this one is more about efficiency and ease than excitement.

The market still looks supportive, with 40.3% of listings priced as good or great deals.

Is the 2025 Toyota Sienna reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2025 Sienna’s hybrid setup is presented as a practical, efficiency-focused powertrain, and Toyota backs it with complimentary scheduled maintenance for two years or 25,000 miles. Its standard hybrid system and quiet highway manners also support the sense that it is built for steady, everyday use rather than drama.

The main ownership risk for used buyers is that real-world fuel economy can fall short of expectations, so condition and maintenance history matter.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Toyota Sienna?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92.6% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you’re comparing higher-mileage examples or vehicles with lots of family-duty wear. Focus on cabin condition, cargo-area use, and whether the technology and driver-assistance features work as expected.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The lineup includes LE, XLE, XSE, Limited, Woodland Edition, and Platinum. The entry-level LE has three-zone climate control, while higher-spec models get a 12.3-inch digital instrumentation panel, a 12.3-inch touchscreen, and more upscale interior touches. The Platinum trim adds a new woodgrain finish, while the Woodland Edition is the one aimed at light off-roading use.
• Powertrain: The only powertrain is a hybrid system with a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine and a CVT. Front-wheel drive is standard, and all-wheel drive is available with an additional rear-mounted electric motor. The setup is tuned for efficiency, with an official 36 mpg combined rating on the FWD test model.
• Safety package: Toyota Safety Sense 2.0 includes forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, pedestrian detection, lane departure warning, lane-keeping assist, lane-centering assist, adaptive cruise control, and automatic high beams. All Siennas also have blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert.
• Infotainment: Higher-spec models get a 12.3-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and connected-services capability. The system also supports a digital assistant, and some trims can add an 11.6-inch rear entertainment display.
• Fuel efficiency: The official EPA rating for the FWD test model was 36 mpg in combined driving, and the model is described as promising 35 to 36 mpg in combined driving.

Which 2025 Toyota Sienna trim should I buy?

The 2025 Toyota Sienna is offered in 6 trim levels: LE, XLE, XSE, Limited, Woodland Edition, and Platinum.

Here's the short version:

• LE: This is the entry point, and it makes the Sienna’s hybrid efficiency and family-friendly basics accessible. It’s the trim to consider if you want the lowest-cost path into the lineup and can live with the simpler climate setup.
• XLE: This is the best-value trim for most shoppers because it adds more everyday comfort and convenience without pushing you into the highest-priced versions. It’s the sweet spot if you want a well-equipped family hauler.
• XSE: Choose this if you want a racier look and a sport-tuned suspension. It’s the trim for buyers who want the Sienna to feel a little more distinctive on the road, even if expectations for fun should stay modest.
• Limited: This is the step-up choice if you want a more premium-feeling Sienna with more of the high-end equipment and tech features that make daily use easier.
• Woodland Edition: Pick this if you want the extra ground clearance and the light off-roading angle. It’s the most outdoorsy version in the lineup.
• Platinum: This is the top trim, with the most upscale presentation and the richest feature set, including the updated interior finish and the most advanced tech presentation.

The safety package is built around Toyota Safety Sense 2.0, and all Siennas also include blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Toyota Sienna?

It looks like a buyer’s market right now, with solid deal availability and a meaningful price drop versus last year.

• Deal availability: 40.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 2,486 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.69% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 92.6% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $46,218, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Toyota Sienna's resale value?

The current average of $46,342 sits slightly below last year's $50,201.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable point in the cycle. For a future seller, that also means your resale outcome will depend heavily on how well you preserve condition and mileage while you own it.

Because the model is still drawing strong shopper interest and has a solid satisfaction score, demand should remain healthy if you keep it clean and well maintained.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2025 Toyota Sienna safe?

The 2025 Sienna earns five-star overall ratings from NHTSA, but it also earns four-star ratings in frontal crash and three-star ratings for driver protection in a frontal impact. It also does not earn a Top Safety Pick rating from IIHS.

It earns a 6/10 safety score from our experts.

Toyota Safety Sense 2.0 includes forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, pedestrian detection, lane departure warning, lane-keeping assist, lane-centering assist, adaptive cruise control, and automatic high beams. All Siennas also include blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert.

A notable caveat is that the frontal crash result is weaker than you’d want to see, so you should treat the safety tech as helpful support rather than a substitute for attentive driving.

Should I buy a 2025 Toyota Sienna or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 40.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92.6% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.69% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It adds a new rear-seat reminder system and keeps the efficiency-focused hybrid setup.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $44,305, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $46,342 average.
• It delivers impressive fuel efficiency and strong value.

Consider the 2026 if:

• It offers standard hybrid power with best-in-class fuel economy.
• It keeps the available AWD system for extra winter traction.

The bottom line: If you want the current-year mix of strong deal availability, high satisfaction, and updated family-friendly tech, the 2025 is the primary pick. If your priority is spending less up front, the 2024 is the better value path; if you want to compare for the latest efficiency-focused setup, the 2026 is worth a look.
