Used 2025 Toyota Sienna for Sale near California

How much does the 2025 Toyota Sienna cost?

Prices have softened 7.13% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 2,358 listings available, which gives you a solid pool to compare prices and equipment.

Is the 2025 Toyota Sienna a good car?

Yes — the 2025 Toyota Sienna earns a 5/5 user rating and a 6.33/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Technology at 9/10.

The Sienna’s appeal is strongest if you want a minivan that prioritizes efficiency, everyday usability, and comfort. The overview points to a standard hybrid powertrain, available all-wheel drive, and a family-friendly layout that keeps the second-row seats in place for easier hauling. Expert testing also highlights a great ride quality, a quiet cabin, and easy-to-use technology.

The trade-offs are real, though: the transmission can be irritating, real-world fuel economy fell short in testing, and cargo space trails rivals. Even so, the market still shows 35.2% good or great deals, which suggests there are worthwhile opportunities if you shop carefully.

Is the 2025 Toyota Sienna reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Sienna’s reliability case is helped by its straightforward hybrid setup and Toyota’s emphasis on practical, low-drama family use. Expert testing also notes that the hybrid powertrain feels responsive enough in everyday driving and that the cabin stays quiet on the highway. ToyotaCare complimentary scheduled maintenance for two years or 25,000 miles adds another ownership perk.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is less about durability and more about whether the vehicle’s real-world efficiency and cargo needs match your expectations.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Toyota Sienna?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93.1% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you plan to use the Sienna for frequent family hauling or long-distance driving. Focus on cabin condition, tire wear, brake feel, and whether the technology and driver-assistance features operate as expected. Because this model’s appeal depends so much on comfort and convenience, you’ll want to make sure the interior, infotainment, and seating surfaces are in good shape.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The lineup includes LE, XLE, XSE, Limited, Woodland Edition, and Platinum. The entry-level LE has fewer amenities than higher trims, including a smaller display setup and three-zone climate control instead of four-zone climate control.
• Powertrain: The Sienna uses a hybrid system with a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine and a CVT. Front-wheel drive is standard, and all-wheel drive is available for extra traction.
• Safety package: Toyota Safety Sense 2.0 includes forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, pedestrian detection, lane departure warning, lane-keeping assist, lane-centering assist, adaptive cruise control, and automatic high beams. Blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert are also included.
• Infotainment: Higher-spec models get a 12.3-inch digital instrument panel and a 12.3-inch touchscreen. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are supported, and over-the-air capability is part of the connected-services setup.
• Fuel efficiency: The official EPA rating for the FWD test model was 36 mpg in combined driving.

Which 2025 Toyota Sienna trim should I buy?

The 2025 Toyota Sienna is offered in 6 trim levels: LE, XLE, XSE, Limited, Woodland Edition, Platinum.

Here's the short version:

• LE: This is the entry point, so it makes sense if you want the lowest-cost way into the Sienna lineup and can live with fewer amenities than the higher trims.
• XLE: This is the best-value trim for many shoppers because it adds a more upscale everyday experience without jumping all the way to the top of the range.
• XSE: Choose this if you want a racier look and a sport-tuned suspension, but keep your expectations in check for performance.
• Limited: This is the right step up if you want a more premium-feeling Sienna with more of the comfort and tech that make the van easier to live with.
• Woodland Edition: Pick this if you want the extra ground clearance and the light off-roading capability mentioned in the overview.
• Platinum: This is the most luxurious choice, with the richest feature set and the most upscale presentation.

The safety package is built around Toyota Safety Sense 2.0, and all Siennas also include blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Toyota Sienna?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you have room to shop but still need to move quickly on the right listing.

• Deal availability: 35.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 2,358 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.13% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 93.1% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $46,213, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Toyota Sienna's resale value?

The current average of $46,621 sits slightly below last year's $50,199.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled enough to give you better entry pricing now than a year ago. If you buy at today’s average or below, you may have less depreciation pressure than someone who bought when prices were higher. The Sienna’s strong efficiency and family-friendly reputation should help support demand over time, especially among shoppers who value practicality and fuel savings.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2025 Toyota Sienna safe?

The 2025 Toyota Sienna earns five-star overall ratings from NHTSA, but it also earns four-star ratings in frontal crash and three-star protection for the driver in a frontal impact.

It earns a 6/10 safety score from our experts.

Toyota Safety Sense 2.0 brings forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, pedestrian detection, lane departure warning, lane-keeping assist, lane-centering assist, adaptive cruise control, and automatic high beams. Blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert are standard, and the 2025 model adds rear-seat reminder technology.

The main caveat is that the frontal crash result is weaker than you’d want to see, so you should weigh that carefully if safety is a top priority.

Should I buy a 2025 Toyota Sienna or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 35.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93.1% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.13% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It adds rear-seat reminder technology and keeps the hybrid, AWD, and family-friendly packaging that define this year.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $44,345, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $46,621 average.
• It emphasizes efficiency, comfort, and everyday usefulness.

Consider the 2026 if:

• It adds more utility-focused packaging and keeps the hybrid AWD formula.

The bottom line: If you want the best mix of current pricing, strong inventory, and the latest features, the 2025 is the primary path to consider. If your budget is tighter, the 2024 is the better price-sensitive play, while the 2026 makes sense if you want to compare against the next model year’s updates.
