Why it stands out
The 2024 Toyota 4Runner remains a strong option for those seeking a reliable and rugged off-road SUV. Despite its aging platform, it offers exceptional durability and a strong 4.0-liter V6 engine that produces 270 horsepower, making it capable of handling adventurous terrains. Owners appreciate the spacious interior, which offers plenty of room for passengers and cargo, with a total cargo capacity of up to 89.7 cubic feet when the rear seats are stowed. However, the 4Runner does have limitations, including sluggish on-road performance and subpar fuel economy, rated at only 16 mpg city and 19 mpg highway, which can be a drawback for daily driving. Furthermore, while it features essential safety technologies, the overall technology suite feels dated compared to newer competitors. Ultimately, the 4Runner appeals to buyers looking for off-road prowess and substantial cargo space, though they might find better options in terms of fuel efficiency and modern amenities in rival models.

This is one of the best cars on the market. The only thing i think its missing is a leveling kit. Having it sit a little higher i think makes it easier to see/ safer. The reliability and low car maintenance make this a great option for someone who doesnt want to spend money on repairs.
