It is not the choice for buyers seeking excitement, though, and it remains tuned primarily for smoothness rather than aggressive acceleration.

That makes it a strong fit if you want a quiet, comfort-first luxury sedan with a relaxed cabin feel and a well-equipped feature set. With 40.8% of listings marked as good or great deals, the market also gives you a meaningful chance to find a competitive price.

Is the 2024 Lexus ES reliable?

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Lexus ES?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 88.3% — always verify the vehicle history report.

Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection so you can confirm the condition of the suspension, brakes, tires, and interior wear. You should also focus on how the car presents in person, since a comfort-oriented sedan like this is best judged by overall condition and maintenance history.

That small decline suggests the market has stayed relatively stable, which is helpful if you're thinking about future resale. A steady price pattern can make it easier to estimate what the car may be worth later, especially if you buy at a competitive price now. For a future seller, the key advantage is that the ES's comfort-first reputation helps support demand among shoppers who want a refined used luxury sedan.

Should I buy a 2024 Lexus ES or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 40.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 88.3% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.

The bottom line: The 2024 is the right primary choice if you want a stable market, strong comfort, and a broad pool of listings to compare. If you're especially price-sensitive, a nearby model year may still be worth considering, but the 2024 gives you a balanced mix of availability, condition, and predictable pricing.
