How much does the 2022 Chevrolet Blazer cost?

Prices have softened 11.21% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 2,864 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2022 Chevrolet Blazer a good car?

Yes — the 2022 Chevrolet Blazer earns a 5/5 user rating and a 6.17/10 expert rating. The model scores 7/10 across Look and feel, Technology, and Safety.

Owners consistently praise its stylish design, powerful engine options, and comfortable ride, and many also like the sporty handling and spacious interior. The Blazer’s Camaro-influenced styling and approachable, easy-to-use tech fit well if you want a midsize SUV that feels more distinctive than most rivals. On the downside, the expert review points to uncomfortable seats and poor visibility, and it also calls out poor value for money. It’s a better match if you care most about style and usability than if you want the most compelling all-around bargain.

The market also shows 34.3% good or great deals, which suggests there are still worthwhile listings to find.

Is the 2022 Chevrolet Blazer reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also points to a dependable, trouble-free ownership experience, with confidence in the Blazer’s long-term appeal. The expert review reinforces that sense of everyday usability by describing the SUV as easy to live with and agreeable in the kinds of driving most people do most often. It also notes that the Blazer’s technology works exceptionally well and that the available driver aids are smooth and unobtrusive, which supports confidence in day-to-day use.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is less about outright durability and more about whether the vehicle’s condition and maintenance history match its premium-feeling presentation.

What should I look for when buying a used 2022 Chevrolet Blazer?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 79.6% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the history report carefully, because a clean title alone does not tell you how the vehicle was maintained or repaired. Prioritize a thorough inspection of the seats, visibility, and all electronic features, since those are the areas most likely to affect your day-to-day satisfaction. It also makes sense to focus on how the SUV feels on the road, especially if you plan to use it as a commuter or family vehicle.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The lineup includes 2LT, 3LT, Premier, and RS. The 2LT, 3LT, and Premier use the standard turbocharged four-cylinder, while the RS stands apart with a V6 and a more sophisticated twin-clutch AWD setup. The base trims are the ones most likely to leave you wanting more if you care about stronger performance or a more upscale feel.
• Powertrain: The standard setup is a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder with 228 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque, paired with a nine-speed automatic and available FWD or AWD. The RS gets a 3.6-liter V6 with 308 hp and 270 lb-ft, and it can tow up to 4,500 pounds.
• Safety package: Chevy Safety Assist is standard and includes forward-collision warning, pedestrian detection, low-speed automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, and automatic high-beam headlights. Rear-seat reminder and Teen Driver are also standard, while blind-spot warning, rear cross-traffic alert, adaptive cruise control, enhanced automatic emergency braking, and the Safety Alert Seat are available.
• Infotainment: You get an 8-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The system is easy to use, and the upgraded version adds satellite radio and connected navigation with enhanced voice recognition. Connected services and a 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot are also available.
• Fuel efficiency: The expert review says the Blazer RS AWD should have returned 21 mpg in combined driving, and testing averaged 20.5 mpg on the loop while using FWD mode.

Which 2022 Chevrolet Blazer trim should I buy?

The 2022 Chevrolet Blazer is offered in 4 trim levels: 2LT, 3LT, Premier, and RS.

Here's the short version:

• 2LT: This is the entry point, and it gives you the Blazer’s core style, standard turbo-four power, and easy-to-use tech without pushing the price up too far. It makes sense if you want the look and everyday usability first.
• 3LT: This is the best-value choice if you want a more flexible middle ground, because it opens the door to the available V6 while staying below the top trims. It’s the trim to target if you want more power without going all the way to the RS.
• Premier: This trim leans more upscale, with revised exterior details and the kind of equipment that makes the Blazer feel a little more polished. Choose it if you want a nicer presentation and are willing to pay for it.
• RS: This is the most distinctive version, with the standard V6 and the more sophisticated twin-clutch AWD system. It suits you best if you want the strongest performance and the sportiest character in the lineup.

Chevy Safety Assist is standard on every trim, so you get the core driver-assistance package no matter which version you choose.

• Accident-free inventory is solid at 79.6% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.21% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It combines approachable tech with Camaro-inspired style and a practical two-row layout.

Consider the 2021 if:

• It puts style and driving feel ahead of everything else.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $26,905, the 2023 costs more than the current year's $23,501 average.
