How much does the 2022 Toyota Venza cost?

Prices have softened 2.37% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 806 listings available, which gives you a meaningful pool to compare prices and equipment.

Is the 2022 Toyota Venza a good car?

Yes — the 2022 Toyota Venza earns a 4.7/5 user rating and an 8.5/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel, Form and function, and Safety.

Owners consistently praise its comfort, quiet ride, and fuel efficiency, and many also like its upscale interior feel and smooth driving experience. The Venza’s standard hybrid setup and standard all-wheel drive make efficiency and traction central to its appeal, especially if you want a refined two-row SUV rather than a more conventional family hauler. The main trade-offs are its unintuitive technology and polarizing design, along with limited cargo space. Even so, 32.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop carefully.

Is the 2022 Toyota Venza reliable?

Owners rate it 4.7/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a vehicle people feel good about living with over time, especially because it is described as efficient, comfortable, and worth recommending. The expert test-drive notes also emphasize Toyota’s transparent hybrid operation and the fact that you do not need to worry about charging infrastructure or range anxiety. Toyota’s shared-platform approach also supports parts availability and service familiarity, which can help ownership feel more predictable.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is less about the hybrid concept itself and more about finding a well-kept example with the right maintenance history and condition.

What should I look for when buying a used 2022 Toyota Venza?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 82.5% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still run a vehicle history report on any candidate, even if the listing looks clean at first glance. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection that checks the hybrid system, brakes, tires, and electronics, since those are the areas where condition matters most on a used crossover. Focus on how the cabin, infotainment, and cargo area have held up, because the Venza’s appeal depends heavily on comfort and everyday usability.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The LE comes with an 8-inch touchscreen and a 5-inch instrument cluster display, while the XLE and Limited move to a 7-inch cluster screen. The Limited adds a 12.3-inch touchscreen, a JBL audio system, and navigation, while the XLE and Limited also get front and rear parking assist with automated braking. If you want the strongest value, the XLE is the trim to compare closely because it adds useful equipment without jumping all the way to the top model.
• Powertrain: The Venza uses a 2.5-liter inline four-cylinder gasoline engine with three electric motors for 219 horsepower combined. It also offers EV operation for short distances and Normal, Eco, and Sport drive modes, with regenerative braking helping recharge the battery.
• Safety package: Toyota Safety Sense 2.0 includes forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, pedestrian detection, daytime bicycle detection, adaptive cruise control, lane-departure alert with steering assist, automatic high beams, lane tracing assist, and road-sign assist. A blind-spot monitor with rear cross-traffic alert and hill-start assist are standard on all trim levels, while XLE and Limited add front and rear parking assist with automated braking.
• Infotainment: The LE and XLE use an 8-inch touchscreen with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, Amazon Alexa, Bluetooth, SiriusXM, and Toyota Connected Services. The Limited upgrades to a 12.3-inch touchscreen and adds navigation, while both multimedia setups include connected services features.
• Fuel efficiency: The Venza is rated at up to 40 mpg city, 37 mpg highway, and 39 mpg combined, and the hybrid setup is designed to deliver strong efficiency without charging.

Which 2022 Toyota Venza trim should I buy?

The 2022 Toyota Venza is offered in 3 trim levels: LE, XLE, Limited.

Here's the short version:

It makes sense if you want the lowest-cost way into the model and are comfortable giving up some convenience and tech upgrades.
• XLE: This is the best-value trim for most shoppers because it adds meaningful comfort and convenience without moving into luxury-priced territory. You get the 7-inch cluster display, front and rear parking assist with automated braking, and the same strong hybrid and safety foundation as the LE.
• Limited: This is the trim to choose if you want the most upscale Venza experience. It adds the 12.3-inch touchscreen, JBL audio, navigation, and available advanced tech features, making it the right pick if you care most about cabin polish and equipment.

Should I buy a 2022 Toyota Venza or consider a different year?

• Accident-free inventory is solid at 82.5% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.37% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.7/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It combines standard hybrid efficiency with standard all-wheel drive and strong safety coverage.

Consider the 2021 if:
