Is the 2021 Porsche 911 a good car?

Yes — the 4.9/5 user rating points to very strong owner satisfaction. That makes it especially appealing if you want a sports car that still works well for everyday driving. With 30.5% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2021 Porsche 911 reliable?

The owner feedback also points to a car that feels dependable in daily use, with repeated praise for its daily usability and trouble-free ownership experience. That kind of long-term confidence matters in a used sports car, where maintenance history and condition can have a bigger impact on ownership risk.

What should I look for when buying a used 2021 Porsche 911?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92.3% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and verify service records before you buy. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if the car has been driven hard or modified. Focus on overall condition, tire wear, brake wear, and signs of cosmetic or mechanical neglect.

This is a moderate market, so you can be selective without expecting deep bargain conditions.

What is the 2021 Porsche 911's resale value?

The current average of $179,748 sits slightly below last year's $183,548.

That softer pricing can help you buy more carefully now, but it also suggests the market has already adjusted somewhat from a year ago. If you plan to resell later, the key advantage is that the 911 remains highly desirable, so well-kept examples should continue to attract attention. Strong condition and documented maintenance will matter a lot when it comes time to sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.9/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2021 Porsche 911 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2021 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2021 if:

• 30.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92.3% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.07% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.9/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2020 if:

• At $127,722, the 2020 costs less than the current year's $179,748 average.
• It emphasizes iconic design and enthusiast appeal.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $216,665, the 2022 costs more than the current year's $179,748 average.
• It adds a more premium cabin with a refined daily-driving feel.

The bottom line: The 2021 is the best fit if you want a strong mix of satisfaction, inventory depth, and softened pricing. If your priority is spending less, the 2020 is the more budget-conscious path; if you want a newer-feeling cabin and can pay more, the 2022 is the upgrade route.
