How much does the 2021 Porsche 911 cost?

Prices have held steady compared to this time last year, signaling a stable and predictable market for this model year.

There are 794 listings available, which gives you a meaningful pool to compare trims, mileage, and condition.

Is the 2021 Porsche 911 a good car?

Yes — 4.9/5 is an excellent user rating, and owners consistently praise this car for being fun to drive, luxurious, and usable every day. The review feedback also points to its strong performance and the way it works as a true daily sports car, while still feeling special behind the wheel. In practical terms, that lines up well with the 911’s role as a sports car that can handle spirited driving without giving up everyday usability. With 32.7% of listings marked as good or great deals, you still have room to shop selectively.

Is the 2021 Porsche 911 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.9/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The review summary also points to a car that feels dependable in the ways owners care about most: it is fun to drive, usable every day, and satisfying enough that many drivers describe it as the perfect sports car. That kind of feedback suggests the ownership experience is more about enjoying the car consistently than worrying about constant surprises. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is less about the model’s appeal and more about the cost of keeping a high-end performance car in top condition.

What should I look for when buying a used 2021 Porsche 911?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92.3% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report and confirm the car’s service records, especially because this is a premium performance model with expensive maintenance. Put inspection priority on wear items, signs of prior bodywork, and overall condition rather than just mileage. You should also pay close attention to how the car was used, since a sports car’s condition can vary a lot depending on ownership style.

If you find a listing below $168,028, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2021 Porsche 911's resale value?

The current average of $179,595 sits slightly below last year's $179,711.

That small decline suggests the market has stayed remarkably stable, which is a good sign if you plan to sell later. A steady price pattern usually means buyers continue to value the model without dramatic swings in demand. Because the 911 has strong owner satisfaction and broad appeal, it should remain easier to position well in the used market than many other sports cars.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.9/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2021 Porsche 911 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2021 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2021 if:

• 32.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92.3% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.9/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2020 if:

• At $127,745, the 2020 costs less than the current year's $179,595 average.
• It offers classic 992-era performance with a manual option.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $218,286, the 2022 costs more than the current year's $179,595 average.
• It adds premium materials and a more comfortable cabin.

The bottom line: If you want the best balance of satisfaction, condition, and market stability, the 2021 is the strongest all-around pick. If price matters most, the 2020 is the better value path, while the 2022 makes sense if you want to spend more for a newer-feeling cabin and can justify the premium.
