Used 2021 Porsche 911 for Sale near Illinois

How much does the 2021 Porsche 911 cost?

Prices have held steady compared to this time last year, signaling a stable and predictable market for this model year.

There are 813 listings available, which gives you a meaningful amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2021 Porsche 911 a good car?

Yes — the 4.9/5 user rating points to very strong owner satisfaction. Owners repeatedly praise its fun-to-drive nature, excellent performance, and daily usability, and many describe it as the perfect sports car. That makes it especially appealing if you want a car that feels special without giving up everyday drivability. With 33.0% of listings marked as good or great deals, you still have room to shop selectively.

Is the 2021 Porsche 911 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.9/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also points to a dependable, trouble-free ownership experience for many drivers, with praise centered on how well the car delivers over time. That kind of long-term confidence matters in a used sports car, where you want performance that still feels solid after the first owner has put miles on it. For used buyers, the main risk is paying for a premium car without confirming that maintenance and condition match the asking price.

What should I look for when buying a used 2021 Porsche 911?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92.3% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and verify that the car’s service records line up with its mileage and asking price. A pre-purchase inspection is especially important on a performance car like this, since you want to check for wear, prior repairs, and any signs that the car has been driven hard. Focus on overall condition, because even a desirable 911 can be a poor buy if maintenance history or cosmetic condition is weak.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2021 Porsche 911?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 33.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 813 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $168,035, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2021 Porsche 911's resale value?

The current average of $181,451 sits slightly above last year's $180,119.

That steady pricing suggests the market has remained resilient, which is a good sign if you plan to sell later. A model with strong demand and limited supply tends to hold value better than one with a softer market. The fact that pricing has stayed stable also suggests buyers continue to see this car as desirable rather than bargain-only inventory.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.9/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2021 Porsche 911 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2021 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2021 if:

• 33.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92.3% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.9/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2020 if:

• At $128,111, the 2020 costs less than the current year's $181,451 average.
• It emphasizes enthusiast engagement and manual-transmission appeal.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $216,485, the 2022 costs more than the current year's $181,451 average.
• It adds more refined everyday comfort and premium cabin materials.

The bottom line: The 2021 is the best fit if you want the strongest balance of owner satisfaction, stable pricing, and broad inventory. If your priority is saving money, the 2020 is the better value path; if you want to spend more for a newer-feeling cabin and a more polished daily experience, the 2022 is worth a look.
