How much does the 2019 Kia Soul cost?

There are 1,467 listings available, which suggests you should have a solid range of options to compare.

Is the 2019 Kia Soul a good car?

The 2019 Kia Soul is a solid fit if you want a small vehicle that feels more useful than its footprint suggests, and its 3.9/5 user rating reflects that balanced appeal. Owners most often praise the roomy interior, smooth and quiet ride, and strong value for a compact car. The overview also points to its quirky styling, everyday usefulness, and a cabin that feels more spacious and upscale than you might expect from a value-focused hatchback. With 31.2% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a decent chance of finding one that fits your budget well.

Is the 2019 Kia Soul reliable?

The 2019 Kia Soul is presented as a practical, value-conscious hatchback with a roomy cabin and a quieter, more upscale feel than many small cars. Owner feedback also points to a smooth, quiet ride and a car that can feel like a good value when you find a clean example. At the same time, used buyers should be careful about condition, since long-term ownership risk rises quickly if a car has been poorly maintained or misrepresented.

What should I look for when buying a used 2019 Kia Soul?

At 61.5% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should run a vehicle history report before you commit, then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection on any car that looks especially clean or unusually cheap. Focus on overall condition, repair quality, and signs of hidden wear rather than relying on appearance alone. If possible, compare service records and look closely for evidence that the car has been honestly represented.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Kia Soul?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer's market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 31.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,467 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.41% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 61.5% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $10,761, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Kia Soul's resale value?

The current average of $10,761 sits slightly below last year's $11,257.

That softer pricing suggests the Soul is still a value-oriented buy, which can help you if you're shopping now. For a future seller, it also means resale expectations should stay realistic unless the car is especially clean, well maintained, and priced competitively. If you buy carefully, you can reduce the risk of taking a bigger hit later.

Should I buy a 2019 Kia Soul or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 31.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 61.5% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.41% compared with last year.

Consider the 2020 if:

• At $12,660, the 2020 costs more than the current year's $10,761 average.
• It adds a more refined, SUV-like feel with easier cross-shopping appeal.

The bottom line: You should start with the 2019 if your priority is value and you want the lower average price. If you can stretch your budget, the 2020 is the better secondary path because it brings a more modern-feeling package, but the 2019 remains the smarter pick for price-sensitive buyers who want the Soul’s roomy, distinctive formula.

How does the 2019 Kia Soul compare to the 2019 Honda HR-V?

The Soul is the lower-cost choice by a wide margin, and it also has more listings to shop. The HR-V brings more power and better fuel economy, but you pay notably more for it on the used market. If your priority is affordability and selection, the Soul is the easier buy; if you want stronger efficiency and can spend more, the HR-V is the more expensive alternative.
