CarGurus Analysis: 2019 Honda Accord

Summary
With 341 currently listed for sale near Worcester, MA and an average price of $19,167.00, 35.5% of 2019 Honda Accords for sale on CarGurus are rated as good or great deals.
Favorably reviewed: Owners rated the 2019 Honda Accord 4.43 / 5 stars.
83.0% of 2019 Accord models on CarGurus are accident free.
Why it stands out
The 2019 Honda Accord stands out as a roomy, well-rounded family sedan that blends practicality with a more upscale feel than many buyers expect in this class. Honda’s buying guide describes the Accord as high-quality, practical, and good to drive, and it also notes that the model has grown into a “large car” by EPA standards, which helps explain its expansive cargo hold and roomy rear seat. That same guide also points to the Accord’s near-luxury-car feel, especially in higher trims with leather-trimmed seats, while owner feedback reinforces the appeal of its stylish design, luxurious interior, and comfortable, spacious cockpit.
What makes the 2019 model especially appealing is how much everyday usability it packs in without becoming complicated. The Accord’s infotainment is described as pleasant and easy to use, and the generation guide says modern Accords offer wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility through large touchscreens. Safety is another major strength: starting with the tenth generation, all Accord models come standard with Honda Sensing, which includes lane-keeping assist, adaptive cruise control, forward collision braking, and road-departure mitigation. The same generation also brought a simple, easy-to-use interior layout, physical HVAC controls, and strong rear-seat comfort, along with best-in-class cargo space among its contemporaries.
There are a few tradeoffs to keep in mind. The buying guide lists no AWD options among the Accord’s drawbacks, and it also notes that the model tends to be more expensive than its competitors. Owner comments add that some drivers notice engine noise and wind noise at highway speeds. Even so, the 2019 Honda Accord remains distinctive because it combines space, safety, refinement, and everyday ease of use in a package that feels more polished than most mainstream midsize sedans.

How much does the 2019 Honda Accord cost?
| Metric | Value |
|---|---|
| Current Average Price | $18,958 |
| Year-Round Low | $18,495.93 |
| Year-Round High | $20,098.29 |
| Average Price a Year Ago | $20,098 |
| Change vs. Last Year | −5.67% |
Prices have softened 5.67% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.
There are 3,732 listings available, which gives you a solid pool to compare prices and equipment.
If you find a listing below $18,495.93, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.
Is the 2019 Honda Accord a good car?
Generally — the 2019 Honda Accord earns a 4.43/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its stylish design, luxurious interior, and comfortable, spacious cockpit. The Accord also stands out for its smooth ride quality and impressive fuel economy, and the overview highlights its roomy, practical layout and easy-to-use infotainment, which makes it a strong fit if you want a family sedan that feels more upscale than many rivals. With 25.9% of listings marked as good or great deals, you still have room to shop selectively.
Is the 2019 Honda Accord reliable?
Owners rate it 4.43/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.
The owner summary specifically calls out excellent reliability, along with praise for a vehicle many drivers feel they can count on over time. That same feedback also ties reliability to strong value for money, which matters if you plan to keep the car for the long haul. For used buyers, the main ownership risk is less about the model’s reputation and more about finding a well-kept example with a clean maintenance history.
What should I look for when buying a used 2019 Honda Accord?
At 54.2% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
You should run a vehicle history report before you commit, then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection on any car that looks promising. Focus on condition details that matter in daily use, including signs of prior bodywork, interior wear, and any unusual noise or drivability issues. Because the Accord is valued for refinement and comfort, a careful test drive should confirm that the car still feels quiet, smooth, and well sorted.
Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Honda Accord?
This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so you can shop with some leverage if you stay patient and compare listings carefully.
- Deal availability: 25.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
- Inventory: There are 3,732 listings available.
- Price trend: Prices have softened 5.67% compared with last year.
- Clean inventory: 54.2% of listings are accident-free.
If you find a listing below $18,495.93, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.
What is the 2019 Honda Accord's resale value?
The current average of $18,958 sits slightly below last year's $20,098.
That softer pricing can help you buy more affordably now, but it also suggests the market has adjusted downward from where it was a year ago. If you plan to resell later, your return will depend heavily on how well you preserve condition and mileage. A clean, well-documented Accord should still appeal to shoppers because it has broad mainstream demand and a strong reputation for satisfaction.
Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.43/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.
Should I buy a 2019 Honda Accord or consider a different year?
If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:
Choose the 2019 if:
- 25.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
- At 54.2% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
- Price trend: Prices have softened 5.67% compared with last year.
- Owners rate it 4.43/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.
Consider the 2018 if:
- At $18,166, the 2018 costs less than the current year's $18,958 average.
- It is all-new and emphasizes a more engaging driving character.
Consider the 2020 if:
- At $20,307, the 2020 costs more than the current year's $18,958 average.
- It adds useful tech and a more polished daily-driver feel.
The bottom line: The 2019 is the best all-around pick if you want a well-rated Accord with softened pricing and decent deal availability. If your priority is saving money, the 2018 is the smarter value play; if you want to spend more for a newer-feeling package, the 2020 is the better step up.
