2019 Honda Accord

Just last year, Honda redesigned its midsize Accord, dropping the two-door version and trading the sedan’s plain clothes for a sleek shape that blended the best parts of a sedan and a coupe. That makes 2019 a carryover year, without any notable updates.
You’ll find a 1.5-liter turbocharged inline 4-cylinder engine under the hood of the basic Accord, putting out 192 horsepower and 192 pound-feet of torque. It comes with either a 6-speed manual transmission or a continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT). As far as power upgrades, there’s a 2.0-liter turbocharged inline 4-cylinder engine on offer, with a healthier 252 hp and 273 lb-ft, available either a 6-speed manual transmission or a 10-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters. Whichever engine you get, power goes solely to the front wheels. The Accord delivers excellent fuel economy, as high as 30 miles per gallon city, 38 highway, and 33 combined with the 1.5-liter engine, or 23, 34, and 27 with the 2.0-liter engine.
Honda offers the Accord in the same LX, Sport, EX, EX-L, and Touring grades as last year. The LX grade kicks things off with the 1.5-liter engine, 17-inch alloy wheels, dual-zone automatic climate control, push-button start, a 7-inch color LCD infotainment system, USB connectivity, and LED low-beam headlights and daytime-running lights.
The Sport trim gets 19-inch alloy wheels, a 12-way power driver’s seat, a nicer 8-inch infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, LED fog lights, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, sport pedals, a rear spoiler, a 180-watt audio system, and chrome exhaust tips. The Sport grade comes standard with the 1.5-liter engine, and it offers the 2.0-liter as an option. The Sport trim is the only way to get a manual transmission.
The EX trim comes with the 1.5-liter engine, a power moonroof, heated seats, keyless access, remote start, a 60/40 rear split-folding seat, and heated side mirrors. The EX-L grade comes equipped with either the 1.5-liter or 2.0-liter engine, the latter of which is a hybrid. It also includes leather upholstery, a 450-watt premium audio system with 10 speakers, a power passenger’s seat, a garage-door opener, and an auto-dimming rear-view mirror.
Finally, the Touring trim tops the range, bundling cooled front seats, a wireless phone charger, mobile hotspot capability, satellite navigation system, heated outboard rear seats, full LED headlights, a head-up display (HUD), near-field communication that lets you quickly pair your phone to the car, and ambient lighting.
On the safety front, each Accord come standard with a multi-angle reversing camera and Honda Sensing safety suite. The latter comprises forward-collision warning with automatic emergency braking, road-departure mitigation, adaptive cruise control with low-speed follow, lane-keeping assist, and traffic-sign recognition. From there, the only other options are blind-spot monitoring, which comes on EX trims and above, and the reversing sensors and heads-up display seen on the Touring grade. The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) was impressed with the Accord, awarding it a 2018 Top Safety Pick designation.
It’s hard to go wrong with the 2019 Honda Accord. It’s stylish, high tech, efficient, spacious, and full of safety features. With cars like this, it’s no wonder the Accord line has been a near-universal fixture on American roads for the past few decades.

by Guru9WC8W2The car is very reliable. One of the best cars for the money. This particular one has an aftermarket brace under the hood, special rims, and low profile tires. It runs fast ,and tight.
