How much does the 2019 Ford Taurus cost?

There are 274 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2019 Ford Taurus a good car?

Yes — the 2019 Ford Taurus earns a 5/5 user rating, which is a strong sign that shoppers who bought it were very satisfied.

Owners consistently praise its comfort, spaciousness, and strong performance, and they also call out its smooth ride and impressive handling. That lines up well with the Taurus’s role as a roomy, straightforward sedan for you if you want comfortable transportation with a strong feature set rather than something flashy.

The market also shows 30.7% of listings as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2019 Ford Taurus reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also points to a car that feels dependable in daily use, with repeated praise for comfort, smoothness, and trouble-free ownership impressions. The overview also notes that the final five model years from 2014 through 2019 had the fewest complaints recorded by CarComplaints.com, which supports the idea that this late-run Taurus can be a sensible long-term choice.

For used buyers, the main ownership risk is less about the car’s basic appeal and more about finding one that has been maintained well and hasn’t accumulated avoidable wear.

What should I look for when buying a used 2019 Ford Taurus?

At 60.6% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can separate clean examples from cars with accident records. After that, prioritize a thorough inspection of body panels, paint consistency, alignment, and any signs of prior repair work.

Because this model is valued for comfort and smooth driving, you should also focus on how the car feels on the road and whether the cabin, suspension, and controls show the kind of wear you’d expect from a full-size sedan.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Ford Taurus?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you’re patient.

• Deal availability: 30.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 274 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.50% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 60.6% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $12,824, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Ford Taurus's resale value?

The current average of $12,848 sits slightly below last year's $14,518.

That decline suggests the Taurus is in a softer pricing environment, which can be a challenge if you plan to sell soon. On the other hand, a lower entry price can help you buy in at a more favorable point, especially if you choose a clean, well-kept example.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Ford Taurus or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 30.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 60.6% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.50% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: You should lean toward the 2019 if you want the newest Taurus in the runout years and you value strong owner satisfaction, a comfortable ride, and a lower current price. If you’re especially price-sensitive, a nearby year may still make sense, but the 2019 is the cleaner choice when you want the latest version of this formula and are willing to shop carefully for condition.
