Is the 2019 BMW 7 Series a good car?

Yes — 5/5 is a strong user rating for this model year. Drivers consistently praise its impressive performance, luxurious comfort, and smooth, dream-like driving feel. The 7 Series also fits well if you want a full-size luxury sedan with serious power, advanced technology, and excellent rear passenger room. Is the 2019 BMW 7 Series reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

User feedback points to a car that feels dependable in daily use, with drivers highlighting its smoothness and the confidence it inspires over time. The recurring praise for its trouble-free, long-term appeal suggests that satisfied owners tend to keep enjoying the car well beyond the initial purchase. For used buyers, the main ownership risk is less about the rating itself and more about making sure a complex luxury sedan has been maintained carefully.

What should I look for when buying a used 2019 BMW 7 Series?

At 61.8% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can separate clean examples from cars with prior damage. After that, prioritize a pre-purchase inspection that focuses on bodywork quality, panel alignment, and signs of uneven wear or repair. Because this is a large, high-end sedan, you should also pay close attention to overall condition, since neglected maintenance or poor repairs can be more costly to sort out later.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 BMW 7 Series?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile opportunities.

• Deal availability: 35.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 552 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.92% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 61.8% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $23,779, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 BMW 7 Series's resale value?

The current average of $23,779 sits slightly below last year's $26,695.

That price movement suggests the model has already absorbed a meaningful amount of depreciation, which can help future sellers if they buy at the right price today. If you purchase near the lower end of the range, you may have less downside left than someone who paid closer to the prior-year average. Strong demand for well-equipped luxury sedans can also help support resale, especially when the car presents well and has a clean history.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 BMW 7 Series or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 35.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 61.8% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.92% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line:

The 2019 is a strong choice if you want a luxury sedan with a favorable price trend and broad market availability, especially if you can verify a clean history and find one in excellent condition. If you are especially price-sensitive, you may want to compare it with nearby years and focus on the best-maintained example rather than the newest badge.
