Is the 2019 BMW 7 Series a good car?

Yes — the 2019 BMW 7 Series earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to very strong owner satisfaction. Drivers consistently praise its impressive performance, luxurious comfort, and smooth, dreamlike driving feel, and many also describe it as a strong value in its class. That lines up well with its role as a full-size luxury sedan for shoppers who want serious power, advanced technology, and excellent rear passenger room. With 37.0% of listings marked as good or great deals, you also have a meaningful chance to find a competitive offer.

Is the 2019 BMW 7 Series reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback highlights a car that feels dependable in daily use, with drivers repeatedly describing it as smooth, refined, and enjoyable over time. The strongest reliability signal here is not just the rating itself, but the way owners talk about the car’s consistent comfort and performance. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that a large, complex luxury sedan can become expensive if prior maintenance has been neglected.

What should I look for when buying a used 2019 BMW 7 Series?

At 63.3% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a full vehicle history report so you can separate clean examples from cars with prior damage. After that, prioritize a pre-purchase inspection that focuses on bodywork quality, panel alignment, and signs of incomplete repairs. Because this is a high-end luxury sedan, you should also pay close attention to overall condition, since deferred maintenance and cosmetic wear can be more costly to address.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 BMW 7 Series?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can be choosy if you shop carefully.

• Deal availability: 37.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.

• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.31% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 63.3% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $24,024, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 BMW 7 Series's resale value?

The current average of $24,024 sits slightly below last year's $26,786.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point. For future resale, the softer current pricing may limit upside if depreciation continues at the same pace. Still, a well-kept example with strong documentation should hold buyer interest better than a neglected one, especially in a segment where condition matters a lot.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 BMW 7 Series or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 37.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 63.3% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.31% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line:

If you want the strongest balance of value, owner satisfaction, and current market softness, the 2019 is the one to target first. If you are especially price-sensitive, you can also compare nearby years to see whether a cleaner or better-equipped example appears at a similar price, but the 2019 already looks attractive if you find a well-documented car in good condition.
