Yes — the 4.8/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. What should I look for when buying a used 2016 BMW 7 Series?

At 60.6% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can separate clean examples from cars with prior damage. Then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially on a luxury sedan where repairs and options can be expensive. Focus your attention on overall condition, maintenance records, and how well the car’s technology and comfort features are working.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2016 BMW 7 Series?

This looks like a moderate market where selective buyers can still find value if they move on the right car.

• Deal availability: 31.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 373 listings available.

If you find a listing below $17,668, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2016 BMW 7 Series's resale value?

The current average of $17,668 sits slightly below last year's $19,130.

That tells you the market has moved down, which can help you buy more affordably now but may also limit near-term upside if you plan to resell soon. For a future seller, the key is to buy a clean, well-maintained example so you have the best chance of preserving value. Strong condition and desirable equipment matter more when a model has already softened in price.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2016 BMW 7 Series or consider a different year?
