How much does the 2016 Dodge Grand Caravan cost?

There are 1,193 listings available, which suggests you should have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2016 Dodge Grand Caravan a good car?

Yes — the 4.64/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its spaciousness, comfort, and practicality, and the Stow ’n Go seating comes up as a major advantage for families who need flexible cargo space. That fits the Grand Caravan’s role as a value-focused minivan that prioritizes everyday usefulness over flash. With 29.3% of listings marked as good or great deals, you still have room to shop selectively.

Is the 2016 Dodge Grand Caravan reliable?

Owners rate it 4.64/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Owner feedback also highlights reliability, dependability, and a vehicle that many families can count on for practical daily use. The same reviews point to long-term ownership strengths tied to its comfort and utility, even as some drivers mention design flaws and past powertrain concerns. For used buyers, that means the model can make sense if you choose carefully and focus on condition, maintenance history, and how the van has aged.

What should I look for when buying a used 2016 Dodge Grand Caravan?

At 63.5% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and confirm whether any prior damage was repaired properly. A pre-purchase inspection should focus on signs of wear, vibration, and any issues tied to aging components. It also makes sense to pay close attention to overall interior and mechanical condition, since this model’s value depends heavily on how well it has been maintained.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2016 Dodge Grand Caravan?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 29.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,193 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.70% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 63.5% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $9,610, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2016 Dodge Grand Caravan's resale value?

The current average of $9,610 sits slightly below last year's $10,190.

That price movement suggests the model has softened, which can limit upside if you plan to sell soon. On the other hand, a lower entry price can help you buy at a more favorable point in the cycle. If you keep the van in strong condition and maintain it well, you may be better positioned to preserve value than a neglected example would be.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.64/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2016 Dodge Grand Caravan or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2016 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2016 if:

• 29.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 63.5% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.70% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.64/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2016 makes the most sense if you want a value-oriented Grand Caravan and are willing to shop carefully for condition and history. If your priority is finding the lowest possible price, a nearby year may also be worth comparing, but the 2016 remains a solid choice when you want a practical minivan with strong owner approval and a softer market price.
