Is the 2014 Audi A5 a good car?

Yes — the 4.75/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. The 2014 Audi A5 stands out as a stylish luxury coupe with a premium feel and genuinely sporty hardware, while still offering a well-rounded mix of comfort and practicality for a coupe. It gives you decent room for four occupants, a 16.1-cubic-foot trunk, and an upscale cabin that can be equipped with features like navigation and a Bang & Olufsen audio system. The market also shows 29.8% of listings as good or great deals, which adds some shopping appeal.

Is the 2014 Audi A5 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.75/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2014 Audi A5’s appeal comes from its premium feel, sporty dynamics, and well-rounded coupe packaging, which can make it a satisfying used buy if you want style and traction in one car. Its quattro all-wheel-drive system and stronger four-cylinder output for this model year add to its everyday usability. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is making sure the car has been maintained carefully, since a premium coupe can become expensive if prior care was inconsistent.

What should I look for when buying a used 2014 Audi A5?

At 60.1% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and confirm whether any reported damage was repaired properly. Put inspection priority on body condition, panel alignment, and signs of uneven wear so you can separate a clean example from one that has been cosmetically refreshed. Because this is a premium coupe, you should also focus on overall condition and maintenance consistency rather than just mileage alone.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2014 Audi A5?

This looks like a moderate market, so you can be selective without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 29.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 208 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.68% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 60.1% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $10,415, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2014 Audi A5's resale value?

The current average of $10,546 sits slightly below last year's $11,549.

That price movement suggests the model has already absorbed some depreciation, which can help future sellers if they buy at the right number today. If you pay close to the lower end of the range, you may have a better chance of limiting your loss when it comes time to sell. The strongest resale outcomes usually come from examples that are clean, well maintained, and priced in line with market demand.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.75/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2014 Audi A5 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2014 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2014 if:

• 29.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 60.1% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.68% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.75/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2014 Audi A5 is the better choice if you want a stylish, premium-feeling coupe with strong owner satisfaction and a market that has become a bit more buyer-friendly. If your priority is stretching your budget, this year’s softened pricing makes it worth a close look; if you want to compare alternatives, focus on whether a cleaner or better-priced nearby year gives you a stronger overall condition-to-price balance.
