Used 2014 Audi A5 for SaleNationwide

How much does the 2014 Audi A5 cost?

Prices have softened 2.57% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 201 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2014 Audi A5 a good car?

Yes — 4.8/5 is a strong user rating for this model year, and the overview backs up why it appeals to you if you want a stylish luxury coupe with genuine performance. It pairs sleek design with quattro all-wheel drive, a more accessible 220 hp four-cylinder for 2014, and premium touches like leather upholstery, power front seats, a panoramic sunroof, and available navigation and Bang & Olufsen audio.

It also offers decent room for four occupants and a generous trunk for a coupe, so you get some everyday usability along with the upscale feel. 32.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which suggests there are still worthwhile opportunities in the market.

Is the 2014 Audi A5 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.8/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The overview also points to the usual Audi ownership tradeoff: maintenance and repair costs can be higher than those of some mainstream rivals. That means reliability may be acceptable for a luxury coupe, but your long-term ownership risk is more about repair expense and upkeep discipline than basic appeal.

What should I look for when buying a used 2014 Audi A5?

At 59.2% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and confirm whether any reported damage was minor or structural. Put inspection priority on body alignment, paint consistency, and signs of previous repair work, then focus on overall condition because this model’s premium ownership profile makes deferred maintenance more costly to catch later.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2014 Audi A5?

This is a moderate market, so you can be selective without expecting a deep buyer’s market.

• Deal availability: 32.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 201 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.57% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 59.2% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $10,416, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2014 Audi A5's resale value?

The current average of $10,769 sits slightly below last year's $11,054.

That tells you the market has softened, which can help you buy more favorably now but may also limit short-term upside if you plan to resell soon. For a future seller, the key is to buy well and keep the car in strong condition so you can preserve as much value as possible when it’s time to move on.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2014 Audi A5 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2014 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2014 if:

• 32.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 59.2% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.57% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2014 is the better pick if you want the A5’s style, premium feel, and a market that has eased a bit on price. If you’re especially price-sensitive, you can also compare nearby years to see whether a slightly newer example offers a better mix of condition and value, but the 2014 remains a sensible target when you find a clean, well-priced listing.
