You should run a vehicle history report before you commit, then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection so you can catch bodywork, alignment, or wear issues that may not be obvious in photos. What is the 2015 Audi A5's resale value?

The current average of $11,835 sits slightly below last year's $13,042.

That price movement suggests the model has already absorbed some depreciation, which can help future sellers if they buy at the right price today. If you keep the car in strong condition and maintain it well, you may be better positioned to preserve value when it is time to sell. Demand should also be helped by the model’s premium image and broad appeal as a stylish used coupe.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.3/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2015 Audi A5 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2015 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2015 if:

• 29.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 55.1% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.25% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.3/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2015 is the right pick if you want the A5’s style, quattro AWD, and a market that has softened enough to create some buying opportunities. If you are especially price-sensitive, it is worth comparing nearby years and shopping the cleanest, best-documented example rather than chasing the lowest sticker alone.
