Used 1965 Ford Thunderbird for Sale near Phoenix, AZ

I like the comfort, and the power of the 390 C.I. The styling is beautiful. When these cars were new and a few years after, they were basically good cars. The construction and fit of the car was better build quality than the Mustang another Ford product. It's competitor at the time was the Buick Riviera, which was a very well made car at the time. I think the Ford Thunderbird Hdtp. is under-rated and under-valued!

I like the exhaust note of the 390 V8, doesn't compare to modern cars. Easy handling, great stopping power. Wish the paint wasn't faded, it would be a great cruiser with fresh paint, or a future hot rod candidate, or rat rod.

The Ford 390 engine block is large by today's standards but can't compete with the Chevy blocks of the same vintage. Nonetheless, unmodified stock this car is a ton of fun to drive and is the safest two-door detroit steel you can be in these days!

I like how i didn' t have to do any mods so that the 20's would fit. It's like they where made for it. I haven't gotten to drive the car yet because it's still in resto. My husband is working on his 62 Studebaker Lark, so mine got pushed to the side.

It sits very low.has smooth shift,heater is hot a/c is cold & clock works,total rebuild in 2001 & no rust at all.Brakes are good but needs a dual chamber master cylinder & porportioning valve.All electrical items work.I have a little problem of loosing vacume,I may need new hoses in doors.
