"two adults in a ranger is full up, try to get a child or two with mom and dad, impossible. Explorer 2 dr is nice because kids (in no way shape or form) cannot open the rear door. It will be a pain to get car seats in for toddlers, but 10-16 year olds will be fine and room for groceries in the back without everything going every where in an open pickup bed.
