In our 2003 Saturn Vue (65,000 miles)The "Service Engine Soon' lite on We know its a air leak and want to start with a Gas Cap 1st, But can't we Just replace the Rubber Gasket instead of the Whole Cap? Also we were told not to replace it with a After market cap So were Do we Find A real Saturn Brand?
How do you know it's an air leak, did you scan for the codes? What were they? If indeed the code is a fuel cap issue, you can surely try to replace just the rubber gasket, but aren't you just going to use it from a new cap? So I'd just put on the new OE cap. You won't find a "Saturn" one.
Thanks for the Answer. I have my own OBD reader, don't remember the Code s at this moment but they were Vacuum Leak/Air Leak. What I meant Was can you Buy just the Rubber rings? but from your answer I guess not! Darn!
